Solitaire Plus! App Reviews
This is a fantatic Solitaire Game app! Is it possible to request a few games to be added? If so, I like to request the following: Osmosis, TriPeaks (swap King and Ace), Chinese Solitaire, Fortress, The Clock and Grandfather Clock That will do perfectly. A suggestion, I know Golf doesnt allow the swap between King and Ace (or other way around)...is it possible to make an option for players to choose if they want to swap the King and Ace. I find it a little tricky to not swap lol Thanks.
I have been looking for a Solitaire app for the Mac that my wife would enjoy. She has been playing Solitaire on Windows for several years and really enjoys it. Many of the apps I have tried on the Mac just arent very good. This app is great. It has a big variety of games, and it looks good. We use family pics on the back of the cards. This one is just more polished. They also have a demo version on their website if you want to try before you buy it here. I recommend this app.
This is the best solitaire for Mac that I have found. Lots of options, easy to move cards, ability to set the speed for all motions, including on click options and fun graphics. Its so nice to finally see this kind of solitaire game out there.
By far my favorite solitaire game for the Mac and has been for quite some time. I have had several versions of Solitair Plus but I think I like this current version (3.0) the most. I figured it could not be improved upon but I was wrong. I can set it up to play the way I want it to play and look the way I want it to look with the greatest of ease. Furthermore, I have never seen this game mess up or do something "strange" so evidently the programmers of Solitaire Plus know what they are doing!
Had to buy a new Solitaire game for Lion OS because it didnt support my previous solitaire app. I dont like it because: doesnt indicate that game is over, the sounds are totally obnoxious, visuals are difficult to scan quickly (could be the very busy background selections), paid too much for what I got. Definitely buyers remorse. I cannot recommend this app.
Compared with several other solitaire apps I tried, this one stands out. The screen showing cards is not cluttered. Display is high definition. Card movements are smooth, and on auto play, they are very fast. Just click a card and the obvious move happens. On occasion it might not, but then you can drag the cards to where you want them to be. I also found this developers solitaire (GamesForOne) to be the best on the iPad, and I conclude the cost is well worth the quality.
I bought this app just for Freecell, after trying a demo via the developers website. This was worth the price, because the game operates so smoothly. Its easy to move cards, and Im spoiled by the autoplay function. I turned off the sounds right away because dont like sounds with my card games, so I dont have an opinion of the sounds. Ive tried no-cost or cheap freecell games but they didnt work nearly as smoothly as this one. And if I tire of freecell, there are lots of other solitaire games in this app that I havent even tried yet.

Left had side of pyramid cards don't play
Frustrating that there's a region of the board where the cards don't move (playable) when they should be. Means that not all games are playable. Otherwise, nice game.
Old faithful
I just bought Solitaire Plus! for the third time. I didn’t even investigate whether I could transfer it to my new computer because I think the developers deserve the money for such a great game. What I really appreciate is that it has a deceptively simple interface: The graphics are simple and uncluttered, but the action of the cards is pretty sophisticated and satisfying. It’s great to have such a wide range of games to choose from — over the years I’ve come to love games I’d never heard of before. There are quick, relatively simple games like La Belle Lucie, and games like Montana, which can drive you crazy, because making two plays in the opposite order can completely change the outcome of the game. I’ve loved this package for years now, and hope it’s around for many years to come.
Game page will not scale
The app is well done and looks good but it does not allow for the game page to be scaled. Really, in 2014 I can't scale the page? I like to watch YouTube videos and play solitare at the same time. Best freecell game I've found for Mac
I bought this app just for Freecell, after trying a demo via the developer's website. This was worth the price, because the game operates so smoothly.
